mapachat is a social network that brings together students at the same college/university. All you have to do is sign up with your .edu email address, confirm that it is actually yours and then you’re a member. Once you log in, you will be able to connect with other students on and off campus. You can post what you’re doing or anything else that you want to say.
Mapachat allows you to attach your location to each of your posts. This lets you and the other users see what is happening on and off campus. You will be able to see which students are most popular, based on how many get the most "shout-outs" on your campus. You’ll also learn the most popular places to go and the topics that spark the most discussion. Mapachat makes all of your personal information as private as possible.
No one can see what is said within Mapachat unless they have a .edu email address. Have fun with it and if you have any questions, email info@mapachat.com.
